Basic Philosophy

Shiomi Alloy Foundry Co., Ltd. contributes to society through the manufacture of aluminum alloy castings. Recognizing that protecting the global environment is a vital issue shared by all humankind, we strive to reduce our environmental impact in every aspect of our business.

Basic Policy

1. We comply with environmental laws and regulations and other requirements to which we have agreed.
2. We reduce energy consumption in melting and heat treatment and work to curb greenhouse gas emissions.
3. We increase the reclamation rate of foundry sand and promote the reduction and recycling of industrial waste.
4. We properly sort and remelt aluminum scrap to make effective use of resources.
5. We thoroughly control noise, dust and odor with consideration for the surrounding community.
6. We set and regularly review environmental objectives and continually improve our environmental management system.
7. We communicate this policy to all employees, raise environmental awareness, and make it available to the public.
